Community Open Day 2026

Saturday 5th September 2026, 10am - 2pm with service of comemoration at 12pm

Come and join us to:

• Commemorate us serving the community for the past 90 years with a special commemoration service at 12pm
• Visitors will be able to tour the facilities and take a walk in the landscaped grounds as well as to meet the crematorium team and find out more about the work they do and the exceptional care they provide to make each service uniquely personal.
• They will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the crematory if they wish.
• In addition to seeing our modern and beautiful facilities, visitors will be able to meet my compassionate team, ask any questions they may have about what we do, and find out all about the exceptional care and services that we provide.
• Visitors will also be able to learn about the work Charing Crematorium does in its local community and learn about the various memorial options available to help the bereaved remember their loved ones.
• Light refreshments will be available, and no appointment is necessary for the community open day; absolutely everyone is welcome.
